Hello,
I've seen the same bad reviews on BBB and many warnings. Of course I saw these after I purchased it but now I'm nervous to try it out. I called customer service and they are offering to remote into my computer, that makes me nervous with all bad reviews being a scam. I have a surface pro 4 that gets sluggish wifi
I've changed internet, modem and router......still sluggish on computer. Would this help?

I have used Reimage repair many times on my WindowsXP SP3 machine and it has been very satisfactory in repairing the problems. The only problem I have had is that every time I lose my internet connection and have to go into device manager and uninstall and reinstall the network adapter(Atheros L2 Fast Ethernet 10/100 Base-T controller) to get it back. This is no problem now that I know how to do it, but the first time, It was very disconcerting as I worked with the Local Area Connection icon in the taskbar notification area that I had used many times in the past for different connection problems.
I probably should have asked for help initially but prefer to try and fix things for myself as I remember it better doing it that way. Is this normal for this to happen and can I do anything to rectify the problem?

Yes, it's not just Reimage but many other companies that seem to have the autorenewal box checked, or even try to bill you for a year upfront now unless you change the option. I do not like this, but unfortunately it's just the way that a LOT of companies choose to do business. Just read EVERYTHING on the order page. Sorry you had a problem but glad it was resolved.

It looks that Re-Image looks like an excellent program. My problem with it is that it loads pretty too often to my liking, almost everyday and especially when it concludes that nothing bad was found. Is there something that I do wrong with the program or can I correct this as it`s annoying as I have to wait for the program to do it`s complete job and I can`t use my computer before eerything is ended? Thanks, long to view your reply.

Very unhappy with this company. Apparently the enrolment process is either buggy, or very touchy, and even an inquiry can per perceived a as an e purchase. In march of this year - 2019 - I looked at the software infor, and shortly afterwards decided to purchase it. Not long after this, my computer went down with the win 10 circle re-install problem which snared a lot of folks, and for me, as with many others, it required a store re-install of windows 10 which wiped out most of my apps - including the Re-image app.

Having been away on a cruise, and then trying to re-install everything I had lost I finally realized I apparently had no Re-Image anywhere on my computer, and contacted them to discuss the issue. In their reply I learn that there are actually two charges on my statement, so I go to online chat. In the conversation that followed, I'm initially told they will do everything they can to satisfy me on the problem, but that apparently the can do nothing because three months have passed... Then I'm told that it isn't actually a double billing, but that when I enrolled I actually signed up for an automatic renewal (not to my knowledge, however...) and that because of this that fee showed up on my Credit Card, in other words, they billed me in advance - a year in advance, as soon as whatever little check box was for auto renewal was not emptied by me! This is not a good business practice, and means that they've already not only assumed you would not change your mind, but that you could not change your mind once three months is past. Of course, if you're not aware that that little check box - wherever it is - has been checked, you're SOL my friend.

Fortunately, they have now said - and I have it in writing - that they will cancel the account at the end of the purchased year, I.E. March 2020. although initially saying they couldn't. (or wouldn't) So just be warned, make sure you double check what you've signed up for,, and I would suggest if you're just thinking about it now, double check to make sure you DONT leave a check mark in the auto-renew box, wherever it is! You have no idea whether you will be satisfied a year from now, and as some users have indicated, you can wind up being unhappy with the purchase, and you would still find yourself charged for another year. How to avoid these auto-renewal tricks is one of the more concerning issues in app purchases today, and you can find yourself being billed year after year after year, for a product that you might even have stopped using, and had no awareness that you're still paying for by automatic CC deductions, every month, every quarter, or - as in my case - each year.

I'm thankful I have sorted it out - I think - on this one, but sad to see that a company which could easily have turned round and said, "you know what, we'll refund your CC for the half year you lost, or we'll extend the coverage for an additional six months to compensate you for the trouble." Even 'tho technically it's not their fault, the issue of immediately billing the Auto-renewal is a bad practice, simply because they can't be bothered to track renewal dates another way, and they missed an opportunity to go above and beyond. So BEWARE, and BE WARNED, and stay away from auto renewals, unless you have the gift of foreseeing the future!

I have used spy hunter enigma software for the best part of the last 10 years and I have got to say that it is outstanding it will remove anti key loggers and all that is nasty on the internet. Yes it is a charged for service, but well worth having on your pc it simply does not mess around it removes garbage off your pc. in fact it is really an anti virus product and would be able to stand alone. although I use a paid for anti virus, but Spy Hunter is always a great back up if the frontline product falters. One other thing you can use the software on as many pc's as you feel necessary Very good value for money.
